Yes on 308 launched their campaign!
Everyone who wants an education deserves the same opportunities as other Arizona students. Prop 308 will ensure that students who have DACA or are undocumented and meet the same requirements as their classmates pay the same in-state tuition rate!  Yes On 308 would provide tuition equity and access to programs like financial aid and scholarships for DACA and undocumented students.
Help strengthen voter protection efforts by volunteering as a poll observer!
Poll observers monitor how an election is administered and report issues so that they can be handled in a timely manner. For example, if a disabled voter requests that a ballot be brought to their car, but a poll worker refuses or forgets, you would be able to report that issue so that it is handled and the voter can participate in curbside voting. Poll observers are needed for early vote and on Election Day. Sign up to learn more here!
🎉 Congregational Celebrations
- Celebrations for the UU the Vote team at Valley Unitarian Universalist for hosting their first letter writing party and writing letters in community with one another after service!
- Shout out to Unitarian Universalist Church of Phoenix for already writing 410 postcards/letters and knocking on 161 doors for Arizonans for Fair Elections!
- Congratulations to the Good Troublemakers at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Surprise for recruiting 7 poll workers!
Become a poll worker! Poll workers are an essential part of democracy and the election process. Counties rely on poll workers to work on Election Day, throughout the early voting period, and, in some cases, after election day. No matter the role, poll workers are vital to the success of elections in Arizona.
