Are you ready to get into some Good Trouble with UU the Vote and UUJAZ?

Congregations across Arizona are working to become "Good Trouble Congregations" through their electoral work! Submit your activities today to help your congregation reach its goal.

Recruitment phone bank opportunity! Do you want to learn how to phone bank? Are you looking to get more of your members involved in your electoral efforts? I can set up a phone bank link (and training!) that will allow you and your team to call and recruit from your congregation.

Arizona Primary Election
- Last day to request a mail-in ballot: July 22
- Last day to return ballot by mail: July 26
- Election Day: August 2

Help strengthen voter protection efforts by volunteering as a poll observer!
Poll observers monitor how an election is administered and report issues so that they can be handled in a timely manner. For example, if a disabled voter requests that a ballot be brought to their car, but a poll worker refuses or forgets, you would be able to report that issue so that it is handled and the voter can participate in curbside voting. Poll observers are needed for early vote and on Election Day. Sign up to learn more here or email Mariah.
🎉 Congregational Celebrations
- Congratulations to the Good Troublemakers at Unitarian Universalist Church of Surprise for recruiting over 5 poll workers and/or poll observers!
- Celebrations for Valley Unitarian Universalist for hosting a letter writing party with over 12 members!
- Shout out to the UU the Vote team at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Phoenix for already writing 440 postcards/letters and collecting 40 signatures for Arizonans for Fair Elections!
Become a poll worker! Poll workers are an essential part of democracy and the election process. Counties rely on poll workers to work on Election Day, throughout the early voting period, and, in some cases, after election day. No matter the role, poll workers are vital to the success of elections in Arizona.
📢 The reporting form is live! Submit your electoral efforts here to help track your congregation's progress to becoming a Good Trouble CongregationDon't forget to add the work you have already done collecting signatures for ballot initiatives, writing letters, phonebanking, and more! The form is available at!
