Help Artie Melville

Our apologies, the link sent out in the previous email was for logged-in users, which won't work for most people. This is the correct link to the fundraising page.

This past Saturday Artie Melville, Eagle Scout and the COPE course director at Camp Sayre, was seriously injured in a fall while at camp. One of his vertebrae was shattered and his spine compressed. He underwent emergency spinal surgery and is now in the SICU at Boston Medical Center.

His father Dan remains hopeful and asked for our prayers. Artie's recovery is going to be a long haul of rehabilitation and physical therapy and they have not even begun to calculate the costs but they will doubtless be high. Therefore we at the Boy Scouts have set up a fundraising page to help offset as much of the expense as we can. Please consider donating to help Artie and the Melvilles, members of our Scouting family.
