Brothers Premier Grade defeated Perth Bayswater 38 to 17 to retain the Richard Peppiatt Trophy. After finding themselves down 2 tries early Brothers clicked into gear and overcame a spirited Baysie side. Lead well by their forward pack Brothers continually met the Baysie ball carriers with some big hits. This laid the platform for the backline to put on some impressive tries and run out winners 6 tries to 3.

Junior Match Reports
Under 13 Blue
On Saturday the U13 blue took on the SW Spirt, a representative team from the South West.
The match was a one sided affair with the Brothers running in 18 tries in total.
It was a return to form with very little going wrong for the Brothers. The front five dominated the scrums against a much heavier opposition and the flankers won back most ball at the rucking contest.
The backs outpaced and outplayed their opposite numbers, drawing players and moving the ball well into space.
Scorers were Jack Tween x2, Ed Jones x1, Mitch Wilby x5 (4 conversions), Whetu James x2, Caius Stratton x3, Christian Vorster x2, Ruiz Lee x2, Frasier Masterson x1 Man of the match goes to two people Ruiz Lee for controlling the Brother game and leading from the front, and Charlie Mayer playing at scrum half for the first game of the season, and having a great performance.
A special thanks to the white players Tom and Luke Dunstan stepping in and putting in a good performance and Jack Tween, called up the morning of the game and scoring two tries.
