Cobalt Park is now 88% occupied with a workforce of 14,000. In the last 12 months more than 1,000 of these jobs have been created. Quorum Business Park is 65% occupied with more than 4500 employees on the park.
Two of the major news stories for North Tyneside are below, these include one large and one smaller investment in the borough from the past year.
Focus Business: Accenture
In September, Accenture confirmed its expansion plans by taking a second building on Cobalt Park in North Tyneside, having trebled its workforce since launching its Delivery Centre. The company now occupies over 70,000 sq ft on Cobalt.
Bob Paton, Managing Director of Accenture's Delivery Centre on Cobalt Park, said: "The fact that Accenture has trebled its headcount in the North East in just five years demonstrates our commitment to job creation in the region and the UK in general"...Case study
