Breaking News: You're Awesome

Come join in a fun night of BINGO for a great cause. We'll have a bunch of exciting things you can win through six games of bingo, plus a silent auction, wine pull and a host of other fun games. We'll have the March Madness basketball games on too.

It's just $30 per person and that includes: beer, wine, snacks and your entry for bingo. So, come join us at Knights of Columbus - 2100 East 71st Street. We'll have big fun while raising funds to support the important work Craine House is doing in Indy.

Mission Update in Haiti

Your generosity has these kiddos one step closer to the shelter they deserve. A few BarnRaisers traveled to Fondwa, Haiti last month and helped build one of the new orphanage homes that you're making possible.

The work continues and more BarnRaisers will travel to Fondwa this fall to get the cottage work completed. Together, we're making life better for these orphaned kids and their caretakers.

Please let us know if you're interested in learning more about our fall mission trip and how you can participate and/or support the work.

Save The Date for Golf - September 18, 2017

You'll want to save September 18, 2017 for the Sixth Annual BarnRaisers Golf Invitational. We have a new location this year - the famed Brickyard Crossing which is home to the Indianapolis 500. Shotgun start at 11 a.m. with proceeds to benefit ProAct and the Munachay Orphanage in Peru.

Sponsorship opportunities are now available. Please contact Mike Vargo at 317-507-0238 or Ken McKnight at 317-201-5336 for more information.

I was born in Washington, DC and raised in Maryland. I graduated from the University of South Florida in 1990 where I played volleyball. I am married to Scott Rigney (pictured above with my brother Dave) and we have two children - Cooper is 13 and Piper is 9.

We adopted Cooper from Russia in 2004 and Piper in 2008. Once we saw the conditions of the orphanage and the children left behind, it really inspired us to help. I am fortunate to be a full time mom and volunteer.

I love children, travel and volunteering. BarnRaisers has been the perfect fit to combine all three. In recent years, I have been able to travel to support orphaned children in Peru, Guatemala, Nepal and Haiti.

One of the best things about volunteering is meeting other people with the same mind set and being able to interact with the children who need love and attention. In a world full of chaos and turmoil it is a blessing to be a part of an organization like BarnRaisers that is purely philanthropic.

BarnRaisers recently spent a Saturday volunteering with our friends at Third Phase in Noblesville. Thanks to everyone who participated in our day of giving back.
BarnRaisers says "THANKS" to all of our generous donors and sponsors. Your kindness is making a difference here at home and around the world.
