Hello Faithful Supporters,
We have been very busy having a blast this summer and we wanted to take some time to share a few things with you all. We appreciate your prayers and support through all of this. We could not do this with out you all. It is hard to believe we only have a month and a half left in the summer and July is almost over. We have been busy with many many raft trips, inflatable kayaking, rock climbing, TOADS days with local students, and quality time with our summer staff. James went on two extended IK trips, has been busy leading rafting trips, lots of work projects on our new office building, game nights with summer staff, and is about to head out on his last big trip of the summer on the Salmon River.
Which leads me to our first prayer request! Please pray for the Salmon River trip that will be leaving Sunday July 28 and returning August third. Our whole summer staff team, along with Ryan and James, will be heading off into the wilderness with 17 local students on the trip of a lifetime! We hope and pray these students will be open to hearing the Gospel and making some hard life choices. We want these students to be challenged and to think about trusting Jesus with their life. We are so excited to be doing this trip.It takes a lot of work and we have been planning this for a long time now. Please also pray for safety and that things go as planned.
Our second prayer request is for our team. We are at a hard part of the summer. It’s hot, our staff are tired, and at times it seems like there is nothing left to give. Please pray for our team and their physical health as well as spiritual health. That we will all be filled with God’s grace and rely on God for our strength. I pray our team continues to grow closer together. We have been so blessed with an amazing summer staff team this year. They are all rock stars and it has been a joy to watch them grow and develop this summer. We also had an addition to our full time staff team at the beginning of June. Garrett joined our team after support raising this winter and it has been awesome having him here. Pray for him as well as he is transitioning into this new role at a new job in a new state.
Once again we want to say thank you for all you guys do. We appreciate your prayers and support as we reach teens for Christ. It is a hard job and at times we feel like giving up but God is good. His mercy and grace for us continues to blow us away. He truly is our rock. Thank you so much.
