As we draw to a close for those of us in lockdowns, there might be less time for some of the things we have been doing more of! … such as reading, but we need to be mindful that self-care activities such as this are incredibly important. It takes a while to get into a new habit – you might be surprised to see how long it takes (see my post below). If you have created new routines during the Pandemic that have helped you, whether this be a regular walk, quiet time listening to a podcast or anything else - then can I suggest you continue it!
For this month’s read - I am showcasing Arianna Huffington, co-founder of the Huffington Post. I have heard her speak and read her books, she is inspirational. Her follow up book called the Sleep Revolution is also good if anyone is having problems sleeping.
Finally, I have also included a movie that I saw a little while ago, but that I loved – The Octopus Teacher. All I will say is that if you haven’t heard of it then just watch it!
