The TGRR team is seeking to expand its efforts and has created some unique opportunities to encourage the community to get involved. TGRR volunteers will learn how to organize, run, and sustain a collaborative setting while learning about each other’s work to develop a common understanding of the scientific language used by different groups.
Volunteers will be engaged in and learn about the coordination of international, cross-disciplinary research collaboration. Students and early-career researchers will be prioritized for volunteer coordination positions, and TGRR specifically encourages participation from underrepresented groups in academia. We will fill the open volunteer positions on a rolling basis and work with the volunteers to ensure that their position aligns with their career goals.
Example volunteer opportunities include but are not limited to:
• Social Media Volunteer
• Communications Volunteer
• Peer Mentoring Volunteer
• Water SIG Volunteer
