Restaurant Revitalization Fund 

Starting today, the SBA will open registration for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF), a new source of grant funding created by the American Rescue Plan to assist restaurants, bars, and related businesses impacted by COVID-19 -

When: Get a jump start! This morning, Friday, April 30, the portal opens, and the applications will begin process on Monday, May 3 at 11 am.

Where: RRF application portal - the portal will remain open for eligible entities to apply until all funds are exhausted.

How: Use these SBA resources to get your information together:

For the first 21 days the program is open, the SBA will prioritize funding applications from businesses owned and controlled by women, veterans, and socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. All eligible applicants are still encouraged to submit applications as soon as the portal opens. Following the 21 days, all eligible applications will be funded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Not a restaurant? No problem. The SBA is still taking applications for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)!

Economic Injury Disaster Loan

  • To date, SBA has approved $197 billion in low-interest loans, which provide U.S. small businesses, non-profits, and agricultural businesses working capital funds.
  • Economic Injury Disaster Loan applications will continue to be accepted through December 2021, pending the availability of funds.
  • Loans are offered at affordable terms, including a 3.75% interest rate for small businesses and 2.75% for non-profit organizations, a 30-year maturity, and an automatic deferment of one year before monthly payments begin.
