As we continue to redevelop Sparrows Point into an economic generator, we're planning for and making improvements to the site this summer. From deepening and widening the existing port channels, to upgrading our onsite rail system, these updates to Sparrows Point will enable us to attract new businesses and grow the economy right here in Maryland.

Recently, several news publications took a tour of the site to check on our progress. We would like to share these stories with you below, along with an exciting announcement about the inclusion of Sparrows Point in Baltimore County's new Chesapeake Enterprise Zone. As we progress with our plans for redevelopment, we will continue to keep you updated. Look for more "Updates on the Point" as well as the next issue of our quarterly newsletter, "Straight to the Point," where we will announce details for our second open house this fall.
