Greetings friends –

I need your help for some common sense reform.  We are looking for volunteers to help distribute, gather, and collect petition signature sheets from now until August 15th.

“Would you like to help save Michigan taxpayers over $224 million every year, and have more money available for schools and roads without raising taxes?”

That is a question that is difficult to say no to, and a great way to ask someone to sign a petition.

We have an incredible opportunity to make a REAL difference in Michigan yet again – by repealing Michigan’s Prevailing Wage law.

For the answers to all your questions about the negative impacts on taxpayers and Michigan citizens, you can go to www.prevailingwagetruth.com

Protecting Michigan Taxpayers is asking for petition signatures in your area, and this is where you can help.

Perhaps you have collected signatures before on behalf of a candidate.  Perhaps you have collected signatures before for a ballot proposal.  Our efforts this time are much different.  It’s an initiation of legislation to repeal the 1965 PA 166.  We call it our Best Bid Initiative.

What is that?

Our Best Bid Initiative allows us to show strong support for an issue by gathering a large number of signatures, have those signatures certified by the Secretary of State, and then we hand it off to the Michigan Legislature to either accept it or reject it.  If the Secretary of State certifies our signatures, and the Legislature then votes to repeal Michigan’s Prevailing Wage, the law is passed!

There is NO requirement for an approval or signature from the Governor.  None.

Please consider helping us out.  Your efforts would protect taxpayers, help small business compete against the ‘big dogs’, and help make Michigan a fairer state for construction projects.

We are looking for volunteers to help distribute, gather, and collect petition signature sheets from now until August 15th.  We have full, detailed instructions on how to fill out the sheets, and fantastic talking points for you to feel confident in knowing the truth on repealing Prevailing Wage.

Please feel free to contact me at: repealpw@gmail.com – or call me at (734) 585-4901, and we will make arrangements to get you all the supplies you need.

As always, your time and effort is greatly appreciated.
