Beverly is away on vacation this week, so her thoughtful, inspirational words of wisdom are vacant from this newsletter.  Don't fear...  I am here to offer some exciting information!  As we welcome the cool air of autumn, ever-changing colors of trees and freshly picked apples, we also welcome our Church Conference season and I have all the details you will need to help you and your church prepare for your annual conference.

If you follow the link provided, you will find a letter from Beverly about church conferences this year, forms and their due dates, when your church conference is scheduled and the elder presiding over it.  You will also find the bulletin template needed for worship already in landscape format and it is also formatted as a worship guide. Please come back to the link provided to check for any updates as I am constantly updating the webpage.

As always, you may call or email the district office if you have any questions, concerns or see any errors. I will be here to help you along the way.

The link is:  All the Mid Maine Church Conference information you will ever need for 2015

Have a blessed day-

Greeting from our Director of Lay Servant Ministries

There are many positive things are happening within Mid Maine District’s Lay Servant Ministry program. We are aware that many of you need an advanced course in order to be certified or re certified, and that a number of you really want to be recognized as Lay Speakers under the current requirements.
For others, as you look over the list of courses and review the Lay Servant Ministry Catalog, consider asking your pastor if he or she would consider teaching. They can contact me at for information or to offer to help in this manner.
We will let you know of other classes as we become aware of them.
Blessings to you all,
 Sally Joy
District Chair of Lay Servant Ministries.
