Human Trafficking Bill has Hearing in the Assembly

Assembly Bill 634, a bill I co-authored which addresses Human Trafficking was heard in the Assembly on Thursday, November 30th. The bill improves upon legislation we passed last session which targeted child sex traffickers by allowing for the use of administrative subpoenas for human trafficking crimes and allows for them to be used at hotels. Time is of the essence when stopping these predators. When passed, this legislation will add to the arsenal of tools for law enforcement to protect victims of human trafficking.
