NEWS Latest EA Guidance - Implications of Tier system Latest guidance published earlier in the week... the main changes affected by the tier structure are travel restrictions, and indoor training and competition especially for Over 18s.
Club AGM - 7:30pm, Wednesday 25th November
Due to current circumstances, the AGM this year will be held via Zoom - but the format will remain the same. Please use this meeting as an opportunity to share your views, influence club issues and talk to other members and the committee about YOUR club. Please see the agenda here.
Physical Activity Consultation The Council is developing a 10-year Physical Activity and Healthy Lifestyle Strategy for the borough - have your voice heard by filling in the survey below:
RESULTS Secret Showdown The third of Secret Cross Country series saw a surge in interest with three races taking place upon the lumpy 4k course at Beckenham. Thanks to Pete Lighting and Jonathan Tipper for organising - keep your eyes out for the post-race update to see the results and details for the next fixture. Races are every Saturday morning so if you want to take part please email Jonathan.

Beachy Head Marathon
Well done to our one intrepid finisher, Ellie Brown, on completing the race. For those who don't know it, it's a brilliant, but tough, trail marathon taking in the lovely South Downs and Seven Sisters Country Park. Ellie finished the race in 5:51:24.

PB 5K at Ardingly Showground Fast field assembled for this one on Saturday 14th November
Gravesend Floodlit 10k and 5k Series A series of races held throughout the winter (first event Thursday 29th October) at Gravesend Cyclopark organised by Nice Work.

TRAINING C-Group training With 30 members attending last Tuesday's session we are really pushing to get back on the track (hopefully soon!) before we occupy all the path space in Ladywell Fields with Kent AC runners! Prior to arrival please don’t forget to complete the Covid-19 self-declaration form available here. Runners have also been asked to consider wearing a brightly coloured top or investing in a head torch for this week's session which is 6x400m with 400m jog recovery. B-Group men Again this week there will be various sessions between Blackheath and Ladywell on the go between 6:30-7:30pm. Stuart Beaney for will post more details in the WhatsApp group. If you're not part of the group and would like to join, please reply to this email.
