Happy Spring!
Spring always reminds me of the cycle of life. Since winter in Massachusetts is so long, I enjoy every small sign of Spring, such as birds chirping, colors of crocuses in hard frozen ground, the warm breeze between bitter cold days, and all the energy from trees and the ground that will restore new life in a couple of months.

Now it's time to do some sewing, spinning, & dyeing as additional skills to enrich your weaving projects. Please see the details below.

The SAORI Kai in February was fabulous! We had 13 people in attendance. Here is the link to the pictures I took. I plan to have next SAORI Kai in May or June.

On April 28th Misao Jo, the founder of SAORI weaving, will turn one hundred and three years old. Shall we make a video letter to bring our voices to her? It would be a good chance to introduce our studio to others.
Nori said he would be willing to help create the video. Please be ready for it. I appreciate your collaboration.

I hope to see many of you at the studio soon!

Warm regards,
Mihoko
