What's happening in Saul's weirdly wonderful world

Note from Saul

February was a fantastic time. Lots of good connections. The Cabaret of Curiosities was wonderful! So many talented performers and enthusiastic patrons. If you came, thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you weren't able to make this one, you can get a feel for the event from the pictures taken by our amazing photographer, Kayleigh Brown.

More events and fun stuff below—and a contest! Thanks for your support!

Upcoming Events

Sherwood Forest Faire enters into its 11th season, and I've been there for at least five of them! (It's all a bit of a blur at this point.) I'll be supporting Merlin the Wise as the wise-cracking owl, Archimedes. I'll also be doing the Mystic Show and Spirit Show on my own stage.

Want to attend one day during the first two weekends (February 29-March8)? I have two pairs of passes good for any day during those weekends. Use them to bring a friend for a day or use them both to treat yourself to a weekend.  All you have to do is fill in this form. Drawings will be done at 3pm on Friday, February 28, and March 6. Winners will be announce by email. If you don't win the first drawing your name will be kept in for the next one.
MAR 7-8 - Nosferatu Festival: A Weekend of Horror 2020 — Gore Noire Magazine is having one of their blow-out parties. There will be music, burlesque, and more, all in celebration of the world's first famous movie monster, Count Orlok. I'll be coming from Sherwood, but will be roaming around during the event, reading palms, and minds, for some one-on-one entertainment.
MAR 9, 7PM - Ravencraft's Vault of Horror: Dracula A.D. 1972 — The grooviest, campiest Dracula film that Hammer ever produced. Dress up for this one if you can and come watch this Christopher Lee/Peter Cushing face-off, presented on 3 amazing screens at Mister Tramps. Join fellow horror fans with fantastic food and drinks.
MAR 14, 9PM - House of Mab, Chapter II: Baptism

Sin and Saraphem are outstanding musical performers, creating a dark atmosphere that will transport you. Their event at Elysium will be a gathering of the Seelie and Unseelie Fae courts, with amazing music and other performers. I'm actually not presenting at this one, just going to represent wizard-kind to the court. It's going to be an amazing evening!
Do you record your dreams

Dreams are powerful tools that can give us insight into our selves and our intuition. Keeping a dream journal is the first step to truly harnessing our dreams and making use of what our higher self has to tell us.

Ask Saul

Have you ever had any questions about the strange, the odd, the unusual? Is there something buzzing in the back of your head about my wizard-world? Are you taking your own trip down the rabbit hole and need a perspective? I am taking questions from everyone and will answer what I can. Some will show up in posts. Some may be answered in video sessions or podcasts. If you want to contribute a question, send me an email. It will be fun!
