Preventing Childhood Obesity in the Caribbean

We Need Your Support
Preventing Childhood Obesity in the Caribbean
Preventing Childhood Obesity in the Caribbean
Dear colleagues,

As part of implementation of the communication component of HCC’s Civil Society Action Plan on Preventing Childhood Obesity in the Caribbean, we are currently crafting an initial campaign comprising all existing materials we have access to and trying to gauge possible support we can request of our partners over the next few months.
Please see critical questions below for your earliest feedback, ideally by Tuesday March 20th.
1. Does your CSO own or have access to video and print PSAs and/or infographics that would be relevant to Childhood Obesity Prevention?

2. Has your CSO identified or worked with specific Champions or public spokespersons on Childhood Obesity Prevention or general NCD prevention campaigns? If yes, please indicate their names and whether we can use any material you have which includes them.

3. As it relates to the upcoming launch of the regional e-petition for Childhood Obesity Prevention, will you  be willing to send out media releases to your contacts on behalf of HCC?

4. Also, does your CSO have  a cadre of volunteers or access to any volunteer pools that HCC can engage to support local community-based advocacy and outreach?
If you do have materials we can use, please send them to hcc@healthycaribbean.org
