Coming soon: Interactive videos
Our products undergo continuous development. The trend for interactive videos was foreshadowed in 2015. Soon, Simplex Pro will enable interactive videos.

1. How do interactive videos work?
|
|
"Interactions": A clickable overlay enables the user to receive more information, get redirected to a shop, or even execute a java-action.
|
|
|
"Branching": The user is asked to make a decision which influences the course of a video. E.g. e-learnings or campaigns.
|
|
|
2. How do I create an interactive video?
|
|
With the "overlay" function, those interactions can be placed directly in the video timeline:

3. What kind of interactions are available?
|
|
Functional:

Internal/external Link (e.g. webshop)

An additional video project

Jump to a specific point in the video timeline or to a chapter

A complete java function

Also, the player behavior after a click can be defined (play, pause/stop, audio only, etc.).
The release is planned for Q2 2016. Additional information will be provided in the next newsletter.
