WSET Level 2
New dates for Hobart and Launceston.
Pip Anderson
Welcome to new WSET tutor Pip Anderson.
WSET Level 3
A new course and new dates.

A new Level 3, welcoming Pip Anderson, Frisky Whisky and an alumni retreat.

There has been a lot going on in the Vintage Tasmania world. During a busy Autumn we ran the last of the old-style Level 3 qualifications, had a wild time at our town and country Gin Fling's and welcomed a new tutor to Tasmania.
We are so lucky to have someone of Pip's calibre in Tasmania, in her own words, here is a little bit more about her.

"In a past life, I was a fiery Chef for 10 years, focusing the last two years in all things Sweet as a Pastry Chef. I caught the "Wine Bug" in 2008 and have not looked back! I completed my WSET Diploma in 2009 with Distinctions, and became an Educator in 2015.
For the last 3 years I have been working for Franck Moreau MS at Merivale as the Head Sommelier for Ivy and as his Assistant. I fell in love with Tasmania when I was on the Tasmania Unbottled Trip in June 2015! In March this year, I moved to Hobart, and assisted Samantha Connew from Stargazer with Vintage 2016. I am now part of the MONA Family, working under Maria as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. I am excited to be part of the Tasmania Food and Beverage journeys that lay ahead!"

For current and previous students, the first alumni retreat is here! See below for more information, even if you have not studied the WSET with me, this is a great opportunity to continue learning in a far more relaxed environment.
The new WSET Level 3 course is an excellent update to the qualification and will challenge and enhance wine professionals from all corners of the industry. The continued support of Josef Chromy Wines and The Quartermasters Arms are essential to the success of the WSET in Tasmania and I thank them for ensuring that the wine and spirit industry has access to internationally recognised qualifications.

I look forward to seeing you all again either socially at Frisky Whisky or when you undertake the next step in your professional development.
