Thank you for joining us. As you may already know, we provide engaging, first-person content that elicits emotion in our readers. We endeavour to tell stories that will have an impact on people's lives. Our stories serve our readers information presented in a format in which they can believe and in the subject's native language.

You, our network of freelance journalists, are the reason we have the opportunity to tell people's stories. You are our boots on the ground who verify our content, who find compelling angles that matter to our readers and help give everyone the chance to be heard.

While we always accept story and multimedia pitches from our freelance journalists and the public, below is a selection of stories we are actively seeking.

This week's writing tip

"Start writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is on."

L'Amour may have spoken with regards to writing a novel or short story, but his words ring true for all writers. There is only one way to become a writer, and that's to write.
