[Workshop] Introduction to Comprehensive Plans and Equity

As part of the PlanIt series, the Metropolitan Council is collaborating with the Government Alliance on Race & Equity (GARE) and the Center for Social Inclusion (CSI) to provide a training and speaker series to help inform 2040 comprehensive plan updates. Registration is now open for the first event. Space is limited.

 This workshop will launch the series, and anyone who is anticipating participating in future sessions should be encouraged to attend this session.

The People Behind the Movement: Diana Falchuk

Inspired by her early work as a resident artist at youth jail in Tacoma, WA, Diana focused her career on achieving racial equity by working with institutions to eliminate systemic racism. Now she serves as the first Manager of Arts and Racial Equity at the City of Seattle where she works to highlight arts as a way of achieving racial justice.
