This is it!! After both yearning and being scared of, I finally got to work, I am proud to announce that I am opening my own little Sewcial Edge Lounge /School of Quilting and Bag making.
With the help and encouragement of family and you my quilting friends, I decided to realize that dream of mine.. La Quilting Coach now has a beautiful space in her home in Orleans to welcome you so we can share our passion in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. See pictures below!
Sewcial Days
So to give you an opportunity to see my new space, and to do a bit a Sewcial while quilting, I invite you to come and sew with me over the summer. I have planned Sew-in days where you can come and spend the day with me and work on your projects. Of course, I will help you in all projects that I am familiar with.

How clever is that organizer. I keep all my tools in it and when I go out sewing, I just need to fold it and I am ready to go!

2. Paper Piecing
Learn the wonderful technique of paper piecing. We will spend the day learning this technique to make two nice trivets. You will also learn to make binding with 45 degrees angles. Great Christmas gifts (by the way!)

C'est fait! Après beaucoup de réflexions et d'angoisses, j'ai décidé d'aller de l'avant avec un rêve que je chérissais depuis longtemps: ouvrir un peitit studio/école de quilting et de fabrication de sacs.
Mon adorable studio se trouve chez-moi à Orléans , il abonde de lumière naturelle et il vous attend! Pour moi, quilter est bien plus qu'un passe-temps; c'est aussi une façon de socialiser et de rencontrer des personnes partageant la même passion.
J'ai donc créé cet espace de rencontre, qui je l'espère, vous plaîra! Voici des activités pour l'été que je vous propose:
Les journées de mini-folies de courtepointe
Les dates sont ci-dessus. L'objectif est de se retrouver pour coudre et avancer nos projets en bonne compagnie. Le studio ouvre à 9:00 jusqu'à 5:00 aux journées sus-mentionnées. Je vous aide au besoin spécialement si vous avez besoin d'aide pour terminer des projets avec lesquels je suis familière.

2. Piéçage sur papier
Venez apprendre cette technique très utilisée en courtepointe. Vous apprendrez aussi à faire une bordure de finition avec des angles de 45 degrés. Vous pourrez faire deux jolis sous-plats. Idée de cadeaux de Noel épatante!!
