Looking for contributions.

Dear members of the Education and Outreach Working Group,

We are looking for people interesting in contributing to a collaborative publication that will act as a tutorial for reflectometry analysis. This paper aims to cover mathematical aspects of reflectometry analysis and act as a document that could be given to a student to get them up to speed on the theory of reflectometry analysis. Once the document is complete, it will be submitted as a teaching paper to the Journal of Applied Crystallography and will be published open-access (in addition to being included on the arXiv pre-print server). Additionally, this paper will act as an early output of the Open Reflectometry Standards Organisation.

This publication is currently hosted on the GitHub repository (https://github.com/reflectivity/edu_outreach/tree/master/refl_maths), and we are looking for contributions in any form; proofreading, adding sections, improving the language, etc. Any contribution will satisfy the criteria for co-authorship.

In particular, I am looking for someone to help improve the resolution function section (which I wrote only yesterday and needs some real work), however, any thoughts or ideas are more than welcome. These can either be added to the TODO.md document or emailed to me directly (andrew.mccluskey@diamond.ac.uk).

Many thanks,
Andrew (on behalf of the ORSO chairs)
