CBD Reduces Pill Intake

  • Evidence is mounting for the efficacy of CBD in combating symptoms of epilepsy and numerous other chronic, pernicious diseases.
  • Building on research showing significant declines in prescription drug use in medical cannabis states, Israel-based cannabis supplier Tikun Olam found patients' use of CBD rising, especially for psychiatric conditions, mood disorders, and inflammatory conditions.
  • California-based Care by Design likewise found that among patients using CBD, prescription drug use fell to 1/4 of original levels, from a daily average of 2.8 pills per day to less than 1.
  • Given growing political will at the federal level to permit hemp businesses, patient access to CBD is likely to expand along with significant market opportunities and product availability.
