Hi <<First Name>>,

We hope you had a fun Halloween! If you missed out on festivities this year and need a good laugh, check out the link below from the Ellen show. Ellen sends her producer Andy to haunted houses every year and his reactions are priceless. This is an oldie, but goodie: Laugh Therapy
Arts & Crafts Night
Our first arts and crafts night was a fun time! Thanks to Eric B. and Ally M. for making the trek out on such a rainy day! Check out our Instagram page for pictures of the vampire pumpkin creations. December 1st will likely be our second arts and crafts night. We’ll confirm and send out a reminder closer to the date. You can bring anything you’d like to work on, we’ll also have a project on hand for those who need inspiration. Please join us next time for fun, snacks, crafts and conversation.
It's Fall, Hooray!
While a fan of all celebrations, Thanksgiving is one of my favorites. A holiday all about food... yes please! I appreciate every version of this holiday: I have celebrated with family, enjoyed Friendsgivings and have often chose to celebrate alone, honoring the holiday by cooking a great meal for myself and reminiscing over the gifts of the past year. It feels pretty yummy to pause and shine a light on all of the good things in life. Thanksgiving is a wonderful opportunity for this. It’s so much easier to focus on our trials and hardships; remembering the negative is hardwired into our brains for survival. Recalling and embracing the good in our lives requires more of a conscious effort; not easy, but not difficult and always worth it!

In honor of Thanksgiving, won’t you join me for a month of gratitude? It’s easy, every morning write down three to five things that you are grateful for; don’t over think it, just write down the first thoughts that come to mind. You will likely have days with repeats and that’s okay, there are just some things we are really, really grateful for! The rewards are kind of surprising. When you start your day focusing on the positive aspects of your life, it changes the tone for the entire day! But, don’t take my word for it, try it yourself and do share! I’d love to hear about your 30 days of gratitude experience. The other benefit of taking on a tangible daily task like this is it builds discipline and your confidence in being able to make other positive changes in your life.

This day, I especially want to thank you! You make it possible for all of us at Synergy to have careers we both love and find meaningful. It is such a pleasure to work with each and everyone of you. Many of us have had the experience of working in more touristy, spa environments where we don’t have the opportunity to see a client more than once and have no idea if our work made a difference in their lives. We love that we get to see you regularly and discuss what is working in our treatment plans and making your quality of life better. You allow us to grow and become better Massage Therapists. This is such a wonderful gift and I’m so very, very grateful to all of you for choosing us to take good care of your bodies. We know you have a gazillion choices is this city and we’re so happy you choose us. Thank you!!!

More thank you’s ahead... The holidays are coming soon! Be sure to book a massage during the month of December to receive your Synergy holiday treats this year!  Fact: taking time to care for yourself during the busy holiday season allows you to enjoy it better and also makes you more fun to be around. Do it for yourself, do it for those you love.

Happy Fall and Happy Thanksgiving! Wishing you all the best this season has to offer!

Be well,

Pam and your Synergy Massage Specialists
