Question to consider as preparing for Bible Study
As we finish James 3 and read Chapter 4, James seems to shift from specific advice to more general concepts. How does his worldview compare to that of other letters - say, Ephesians?

Financial Informal Information Sessions

Want to know more about the church's finances?

It seems we do not have enough time at the Semi Annual Congregational Meetings to discuss what we want.

We are offering two informal question and answer sessions regarding the overall finances of Bainbridge Community United Church of Christ September 16th after the service.
We can add more sessions if needed.

Sign up sheet is available on the bulletin board in the hall near the office

Thank you,
Members of the Finance Team and Members of BCUCC Central Planning Board

Reconciling Faith and Politics

By Kay Krejci
We know that there are consequences for what we do as individuals and as a nation. Human lives are always at stake. Families are brought together or broken apart. Disasters take a toll, elections also. We are a divided nation.

The Prophetic Witness Team, Creating a Culture of Peace, of the Western Reserve and Eastern Ohio Association, is offering a time to come together and discover ways to hear one another, especially in our diverse views.

Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to noon, we invite you to Bethany UCC, 1235 Broad Blvd, Cuyahoga Falls. Keynote speakers are Drs. Valerie Bridgeman, dean and Timothy Van Meter, professor from the Methodist Theological School (Delaware, OH).  They will begin the morning followed by discussion and interactive experience. I am planning on going and welcome company.  If you want to know more or want to go, please talk to me.

Choir Practices Have Begun

We meet 9:30 Sunday morning.
All who want to share the gift of music are welcome!

This will come as a shock to no one, but it needs to be said… we are the church and we need to pull together to make this church function on Sundays and every day!
We are looking for a few good people to fill positions to make our worship complete.
Please prayerfully consider how you can best help!
