Bible Study is on Tuesday, November 19 at 10:00 a.m.   All are welcome!
To prepare for Bible Study please read :
The rest of John chapter 6.  Also please review John chapter 5: 30-47 and John chapter 6 from verse 1 to at least verse 40 (same as last week since  we were snowed out).

Questions to consider as you prepare for Bible Study:  What parallels do you see between the signs at the Cana wedding (chapter 2) and the feeding of the 5000?  How do you relate these signs to Jesus's references to his body and blood later in chapter 6?

Greetings BCUCC,

As we enter the Thanksgiving season it seems appropriate to send out some thank yous. First off, thanks to everyone who sent prayers and cards to my wife Debbie and our family as she went through her surgery. It went very well and she is recuperating . It meant a lot to all of us to see the love and support coming from our great faith community.

Second a BIG thank you to Rita Langer and Barb Gamble for organizing our picture days last month. It's a cumbersome thing to put on and also quite stressful, they both did amazing jobs lining everything up, from paper work, updating databases, and calling folks. Everything went great and many folks have already received their pictures.

Also, while the registration has not come out, it has been announced on Facebook that one of the winter classes for the Northeast Ohio School of Ministry (NEOSOM) is going to be New Testament One. The course description is not out, but most likely it will be a gospels focused class. The instructor is Rev. Dan Doty and classes will be held Tuesdays, Jan. 14-March 3, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and will be online. If memory serves the cost to audit (meaning just take it to learn not worry about class work and credit) is $65. If you are looking to get some in depth learning about the Gospels from the comfort of your own home, this is a great opportunity.

I hope everyone stays warm and cozy as winter approaches,

Brian

Give Brian or Corey a call to get the story.

During the month of  December we will have a change in our regular monthly Mission Sunday practice.

This December we will follow a "Reverse Advent Calendar" listing foods to collect each Sunday.
As part of our Sunday service the children will collect your donations and take them to the altar for blessing.
At the end of the month our donations will be delivered for local families in need.
