NEW: City Announces Funding Opportunity for Social Service Providers and Community Organizations
The City of Hamilton has taken a number of actions to provide residents, community organizations and businesses with financial relief during the COVID-19 pandemic. A newly-launched Funding Application for Social Service Providers and Community Organizations can provide funding to support efforts and services affected by COVID-19.

To qualify for these funds, the need must be generated by COVID-19 to deliver critical services, hire additional staff and find ways to promote social distancing and self-isolation to keep people safe and healthy.

You can find all the information and application form online here. There is a new page on the website specifically designed to highlight the various forms of financial relief available to residents, and businesses.
Multilingual Resource for Mental Wellness
Feeling emotional? Anxious? Low? Whether you are experiencing stress due to work related issues, family worries, financial difficulties or physical health problems, you are not alone. The health and well-being of the Hamilton community is of utmost priority during these very trying days.

BounceBack® is a free, confidential, and self-directed skill-building program managed by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). It is designed to help adults and youth 15+ manage low mood, mild to moderate depression and anxiety, stress or worry.

BounceBack® aims to be an empowering and practical way of learning key life skills that can boost your mood and help you turn the corner. The website uses guided videos and workbooks (both available in multiple languages) based on the proven cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approach.

Pass it on as a resource to your clients, community or loved ones in need. Stay safe, and stay home!
