Immigration is vital to Hamilton’s future
Did you catch the opinion editorial by Jim Vanderveken, HIPC's outgoing Chair and Dean of Community Partnerships and Experiential Learning at Mohawk College, in The Hamilton Spectator this week? In it, he emphasized the importance of immigration to the fabric of our city -- culturally, socially, and economically. Vanderveken argued that, although intolerance is on the rise, we should continue to celebrate the richness brought by immigration, amplifying the message of HIPC while reflecting on the our recent campaign Hamilton For All with HCCI.
