Countryfile:
Sunday 8th May edition of this informative and entertaining program featured Dartington Hall Estate.  Huxhams Cross Farm is part of the estate and got a brief mention.

The 2014 review carried out by the Estate has meant a return to the original idealistic values set up by Dorothy and Leonard Elmhirst in 1925 for sustainable farming and a 'many sided life'.

If you did not see it can still view it on iPlayer until 7th June.
Business Buzz:.

Dartington Hall has also featured in the May edition of Land and Business magazine and a '35-acre biodynamic farm' gets a brief mention amongst the list of varied mix of people and land centred ventures.

It is definitely worth a read

Huxhams Cross Farm:

Work continues both planting and building the infrastructure:
Working Wednesday's continue - see website for up to date information with the weather better and spring steaming ahead join the work in the great outdoors and improve your health while helping the farm project.
Planning permission will be going in soon for the training, education and wellbeing building.  Work on the barn, access and parking is getting underway.
The Huxhams Cross Share Offer is still open with funds coming in to support this work and make it happen - be part of funding this innovative, locally-connected, health-giving farm project - let's make it happen: barn, access, training room, space for processing produce, well being centre, sustainable electricity and heating project and so on.  Together we can make the change.
What's Your Apple Turnover?  An unusual 5 year share offer is available: help Huxhams plant an orchard and get apples in return. Full details here
Don't forget the Farm Walk 5th June - full details in Events below.
