THE LATEST NEWS FROM ALPINE HUMANE SOCIETY

Saturday is ADOPTION DAY at the shelter! 12/19, 11-2. All adoptable animals are HALF PRICE - just $50. Includes spay/neuter, vaccination, microchip, & registration with the City of Alpine.

OPERATION: HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

Adopt any Alpine shelter animal on Sun (12/20), Mon (12/21), or Tue (12/22) and you have the option of Christmas Eve or Christmas Day delivery anywhere in Brewster County by Santa's helpers. Visit the shelter 12/20-12/22, pick out your pet, fill out the adoption application, pay the $100 adoption fee. Alpine Humane Society volunteers will arrange delivery of your new furry family member. (If you want to adopt on Sunday 12/20, please call to arrange for an Animal Control Officer to meet you at the shelter. 432-837-3486)

Remember: PETS ARE A LIFETIME COMMITMENT!

**Pets adopted prior to 12/20 are NOT eligible for delivery!! You cannot pick out a pet now and have the shelter hold it until Christmas.**

*November Stats!

There were 8 dog & 2 cat adoptions from the shelter in November. One lucky dog, Speckles, was transferred to Jethro Homeward Bound Pets. Speckles hung out at The Maverick Inn before being adopted by one of their staff members.

*Alpine Humane Society acts as the auxillary arm of the city shelter (operated by Alpine Animal Services). Even though AHS does not have custody of the shelter animals, we play a vital role in assisting Alpine Animal Services to get shelter animals adopted.
