Finishing the Year Strong!

Would you please consider giving a special year-end financial offering to Cross?

This fall our giving increased so that we were able to make great progress in meeting our financial obligations as a congregation.

Now, we are in the position to finish the year strong financially. By ending the year in a healthy position  financially we will then position ourselves to have great  start for 2019.

The growth of our ministries along with maintaining and utilizing our new facility will require extra support.

Our giving to the mission of our congregation at this time of year can move us to be all the more grateful for the gift of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration of this request and for your generosity.

-Pastor Durk Peterson

Dear Cross Friends,

As WELCA has been in contact with the local shelters in regards to quilt delivery, they have expressed other needs that they would be grateful for.

Let us remember that there are those this Christmas season who are not as fortunate as we are. They do not have warm homes or families to be with be with.  Let us in this time of preparation and giving to help those who have none with some essential needs.

Please help if you can by Sunday December 16th to pick up one of the following items and bring to share with someone needy in our community.

  • Bath Towels
  • diapers (especially larger sizes 4-5-6)
  • new or gently used bed linens
  • new or gently used blankets and comforters
  • New or gently used coats and warm clothes. All genders and sizes.
  • Cleaning supplies

We will deliver all items before Christmas.

Thank you for your kindness and spirit of giving.
