PEEK OF THE WEEK
for the week of December 16th, 2018

Dear Cross Lutheran Friends,

Thanks to all your efforts we have had another successful year at the Cookie Fair.

We succeeded in opening our hearts and doors, sharing our church with over 200 people from our community.

We succeeded in raising money that will go out to help our friends, neighbors, local school children and many families around the world.

We spent a morning laughing, working and  just "being together" as a congregation.

Thank you to all the very busy families that took time and made cookies, fudge, lefse, crafts and everything else we served.  I am always filled with gratitude to see how much comes through our doors!

  • Thank you to the men who helped set up and take down.
  • Thank to the young helpers who carried boxes and served the elderly.
  • Thank you Renee LaGrander and Rena Hanson for all the help with promotions.
  • Thank you Pastor Durk and Council for supporting WELCA.

Lastly thank-you to our dear friend Diane Smart who was essential in making sure everything went smoothly. Diane spent many extra hours this year taking care of details, organizing, last minute shopping and baking. She was around for what ever was needed and kept us on track for this to be a successful year.

Gods Work through our hands.

Rachel Welsh
