WCA Update: 7 October 2016

WCA news
With over 70 years of working in an industry he loves, d'Arry Osborn was awarded WCA's 2016 Legend of the Vine for South Australia last Friday, at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show lunch.  Witnessed by over 300 guests, d'Arry was gracious in his acceptance speech sighting he was just doing what he loved to do.  For more information on this award and a copy of the press release, click here.

Congratulations also goes out to Yalumba Wines winning the 2016 WCA Best Shiraz Trophy with the 2013 Octavius Shiraz.  Presented at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show lunch.

Wine Australia have been very active this week with the launch of an updated and improved Gross Margin Ready Reckoner which is a valuable tool for exporters to help determine FOB price points and margins.  For more details click here

Plus, Wine Australia are hosting an Export Update, 2nd November at the National Wine Centre.

This export update is a valuable opportunity to meet with Wine Australia Heads of Market for North America, UK/EU, China and Asia and to gain valuable insights to the challenges and opportunities within their respective markets/regions.  For registrations click here.
