Michelle Turner-Davidson a.k.a @MichTD sharing her Twitter for Business knowledge with our babblers at our new venue, The Angels
Thank you all for coming to another fabulous Hitchin Babble session with our very own Michelle Turner-Davidson, entrepreneur and networking guru. I found it really useful to think about Twitter and what it can offer us in starting and developing our businesses. It is a great tool for business and I liked Michelle's analogy of the balls in the glass; like the lottery, you've got to be in it to win it! I'm delighted to see the flurry of tweets so I think we all enjoyed and got something out of it, I know I did.
Let's build on that and get practising. How about we share something about our business/business to be or introduce ourselves and our business and share it. Use the #bbabble hashtag in each tweet and copy each other in by including each other's handles (eg @InspireAspireUK) within the message. Send as many tweets as you need to include everyone, get a buzz going and try to include a picture, even if it's just a logo or your cat! Don't forget to add your Twitter name or handle to the Twitter post I've made so everyone knows each others [here]. There aren't any notes for this session but I have put some tips and a couple of simple Twitter links [here]. One that I used when i first started with Twitter is www.momthisishowtwitterworks.com.
Michelle is available if anyone would like to contact her. She specialises in helping people "become wealthier, happier and healthier" so a useful lady to know. Her website is www.laterthanyouthink.co.uk and email: email@example.com
I look forward to seeing you all on 19th May, warm wishes until then.
Our next meeting will be 19th May at The Angels and our topic will be Instagram with Pippa Akram, a social networking specialist who will help us all to get to grips with another great business tool.

We want to support women like you to help get your business up and running and keep it going from strength to strength. We offer membership at very low rates to make sure this support and training is available at every stage of your business. What we have found with our Royston group is that members who attend Babble sessions each month do better with their business. This is what we want for you, and of course to make enough to keep Babble going and get great speakers in to help us achieve our goals. So join as a Babble Always member so that we can support each other. Membership is currently available from an extremely affordable £7 a month or £80 a year (until end of May 15) which includes attendance at all of our Hitchin sessions plus a number of other benefits as well, including notes for any sessions you can't get to.
NEW ! We want to reward our members by giving you the chance to get your next years' membership free.
We would like to help more women in business and so we are offering Always members the opportunity to bring guests for free to try out a Babble session. If they sign up for Always membership, you get money off your next years membership.
The more new members you introduce, the more you get off so you could get a whole year free!
Please share this message or email me with anyone you think might like to join my email list/come to a meeting as we'd like to support as many women as possible locally, thank you.
For those of you that would like a receipt for Babble meetings do let me know at the meeting.
