CAMA National Healthy Choice Program will be launched in Victoria!
As directed by members at CAMA’s 2015 Annual Meeting, the Association is now close to completion of a National Healthy Choice Program for vending, office coffee services and micro markets.
Key objectives are to offer a user-friendly program for industry members in all regions across Canada. Offering point-of-purchase qualifying food and beverage products will increase the availability of healthy choices. Criteria will be based on a combination of calories, fats, sugars and sodium with no calculations necessary.
An easy to use toolkit will be provided to determine if a product qualifies, and to assist in promoting consumer consumption of healthier options.
CAMA recognizes this important step must be a part of your total business plan. By placing healthier choices alongside more traditional products, the options are clear.
We invite you to join us on Saturday, September 17th at the Victoria Conference Centre when Nutrition Consultant, April Saunders will present an overview of the program followed by Q&A from the audience!
We have reserved a block of rooms at a rate of $180 per night at the Doubletree by Hilton. The cut-off is August 15th so don’t delay in reserving your accommodations.
The first 100 operator attendees who pre-register and attend the conference are entered into a draw for an Ipad mini!
Visit the CAMA booth at Expo 2016 and complete a ballot for your chance to win a return airfare from anywhere in Canada to Quebec City to celebrate our 60th annual trade show in October 2017.
