3. Reserve your 2017 license number
You only have until 30 November 2016 to reserve your number.
Those members who are interested in keeping their numbers for 2017, are requested to mail Magda Grobler at before the END OF NOVEMBER 2016.
There is no guarantee that we will get the same license numbers for 2017 as requested, especially for members who joined late in the year, as numbers issued by AGN later in the year might be additional numbers and do not fall within the numbers allocated for Magnolia.  This will specifically pertain to numbers consisting of 5 digits.
4. Please check your details on ASA
ALL MAGNOLIA MEMBERS are required to go check their details on the ASA website under the following link

We still have numerous Magnolia members who have not registered or arranged their transfers from other clubs. We created profiles for some of those members who have not done so. These members can either use their name or ID number as password to log in.

Please help us smooth out the registration process for 2017 by making sure all your details are correct and that you are in fact registered.

Chiropractic services for Athletes.
Chiropractic is a physical medical discipline that uses Orthopedic and Neuro-muscular assessment techniques and then gentle Spinal Manipulative Therapy coupled with soft tissue therapies like Kinesiotape, Stretching and various other muscle techniques - all with the express purpose of improving mechanical function of the spinal column, all other joints in the body and all surrounding soft tissue structures.
Many athletes have used Chiropractic for years in conjunction to other medical practitioners to prevent injuries and treat those niggles that arise along the way.
Feel free to give our office a call or send me an email with your query and we can get to the bottom of it.

Dear Runner
CarTrip is a company that offers an internet-based platform that allows drivers and passengers to easily arrange lifts together. We encourage you to visit their website and find out more about this exciting new service. It provides a much-needed facility for runners to arrange lifts or offer lifts to various running events.
Almost 70% of people that enter events drive to the venue on their own so it makes sense that our participants share their vehicles with other participants coming to the event.
The benefits of sharing rides to the event include:
 You are able to meet fellow participants who share your passion for running.
 If you are a driver you can recoup some or all of your petrol costs by offering a lift.
 If you need a lift it will cost a fraction of the cost of travelling there with your own car.
 Ladies can get lifts with lady drivers only if they prefer.
 More parking and less congestion at the event as there will be fewer cars.
 With fewer cars on the road, it helps our environment by reducing CO2 emissions.

So if you’re travelling alone to any of the running events or if you’re looking for a lift to an event then go to You will see a dropdown tab with all the events listed, just select your event and enter your ride details. You can also email them with details of an event if it is not listed. We do suggest that you read through their FAQ’s should you have any questions on how it works and we look forward to our members embracing this opportunity presented by CarTrip.
