Iodine deficiency may play a causative role in the development of breast cancer.

Estrogen does not cause weight gain. For one thing, it's a natural appetite suppressant.

Losing progesterone during perimenopause can destabilize the HPA axis and make it harder to cope with stress

Progesterone calms the brain and promotes sleep. At the same time, progesterone seems to play a role in the mood symptoms of PMDD. How can both things be true
