GAIA-CLIM User Requirements Survey 
In the framework of the Horizon 2020 program of the European Commission the GAIA-CLIM is looking at improving the insitu measurements to calibrate the satellite measurements. One of the key outcomes will be a web-based "virtual observatory" facility hosted by EUMETSAT. If you are a potential user you can help shaping the facility by participating to the User Requirements Survey.

 

S2S Database Now Available
The Sub-seasonal to Seasonal Prediction Project (S2S), joint activity of the World Weather Research Program (WWRP) and (WCRP) is launching an extensive database that contains sub-seasonal (up to 60 days) near-real time forecasts (3 weeks behind real-time) and reforecasts (sometimes known as hindcasts)... read more
