Conference Highlights

There are five more weeks until the 38th Annual Conference - and we can't wait! The Board has been hard at work planning what is sure to be another great event, full of new learning, sharing and networking opportunities for Directors. If you haven't already, we hope you will take a moment to register and join us - in person or virtually - before it's too late! In the meantime, here are some highlights we'd like to share of what to expect:
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 27
  • Registration (3 - 6:00pm)
  • Welcome Cocktail Reception (5 - 6:30pm)
  • Long-Term Service Awards (6:00pm)
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28
  • Breakout: Board Chairs' & Vice-Chairs' Session (7:30 - 8:30am)
  • Plenary 1: National Update with CCUA (9:30 - 10:00am)
  • CUDA Graduates Ceremony (10 - 10:15am)
  • Plenary 2: Embrace Modernization or Face Irrelevance, The Director's Role (10:30 - 12pm)
  • Plenary 3: Cases in Strategy (1 - 4:30pm)
  • Networking Refreshment Break Sponsored by Central 1 (2:30 - 3pm)
  • Daily wrap-up and Raffle Draws! (4:30pm)
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29
  • Plenary 4: Effective Board and Management Relationships (8 - 9:30am)
  • Plenary 5: Building Co-operative Culture (9:45 - 10:45am)
  • Plenary 5: Conference Highlights & Insights with Alisdair Smith (11am - 12pm)

Register Now and Save

While the deadline to register is October 14, doing so by September 30 means a savings of $100 of the registration fee! Simply click the "Event Registration" link on the top right corner of our website.

Please contact us with your questions, and be sure to check out all the upcoming deadlines regarding registration.

Book Your Accommodations Before it's too Late!

The deadline to book your room at the Hilton Mississauga-Meadowvale to take advantage of the discounted group rate of $175+HST per night is October 4. After this date, we cannot guarantee the price that you will be quoted. All the information you need to book is available here! (Don't forget to use the special code when calling).
