December 11, 2019
Dear Students, Families, Alumni, Parishioners, and Friends of ASB School,
In this second week of Advent, we focus on the gift of peace. This can be hard to find this time of year. I wish you peace this week and hope you find peace in the practice of your faith, peace in the love of your family, peace in the support of your friends, peace in forgiving those seeking forgiveness, and peace in the joy your children bring to not only you, but to our entire community.
I am sincerely grateful to you for helping with our various Christmas giving projects at each grade level. This is one real way our children can experience creating peace for others by giving them some momentary comfort and celebration of the season. As always, I am humbled by the generosity of this community. It never ceases to amaze me.
Last week, I wrote about finding bright spots. I hope to see many of you tomorrow night at our annual Christmas concert at 7:00 PM at St. Bridget. This most certainly going to be a very bright spot of our week!
IMPORTANT SCHEDULE NOTE- MARK YOUR CALENDARS
On Thursday, May 21st, ASB will dismiss at noon. The purpose of this dismissal is to have our full school reunification drill. Families will receive more information closer to the date. This is an important event for all families to learn these procedures in case of an actual emergency.
