2018-19 ASB Calendar PDF

2019-20 Calendar (DRAFT)
May 29, 2019
Dear Students, Families, Alumni, Parishioners, and Friends of ASB School,
Happy Wednesday! Today we have our second Principal for the Day, Luca Cangialosi. Thanks to Luca, everyone looks lovely in their fancy free dress and are full of donuts and chocolate milk.  On top of that, second grade is hosting their Whale of a Popsicle sale today. Definitely full of fun here at ASB!
Your final volunteer hour tracking sheet is coming home today in your Wednesday envelope.  Important notes:
  • All volunteer hour sheets need to be completed and turned in by next Wednesday, June 5th.
  • If you anticipate volunteering the last week of school, put your projected hours on this recording sheet.
  • All families who have not met the 35-hour requirement will be billed through FACTS at $10/hour on Tuesday, June 11th.  This is to ensure that billing and collection is finalized before the end of our fiscal year on June 30th.
We are hoping you will all join us on Wednesday, June 12th for our groundbreaking ceremony.  We will be serving Dick’s burgers, beverages, tours of the school for alumni and alumni families, and community-building fun and excitement.  We will begin outside at 6:00 PM with our official groundbreaking, then head to the gym to continue the celebration.
It is the time of year when parishioners are asked to make their commitment to the Annual Catholic Appeal in their parishes.  We are striving for 100% participation, so please get your pledge into your parish as soon as possible.  Please also join Assumption Parish next Friday, June 7th for Bingo Night. More information is below in parish section of newsletter.
A few articles for this week: Have a great weekend!

Important announcement about Camp ASB!

As I announced last week, due to the beginning of the construction project at ASB School, Camp ASB will be off campus for the first week of Summer.  June 17-21, Camp ASB will be operating out of St. Bridget Parish.  We are incredibly lucky to have this as an option for our campers and we are very excited about the possibilities that we may have at this location, specifically Laurelhurst Park.  We will be coordinating with St. Bridget in the next couple of weeks and I will be sure to relay any important news to our camp families.  Camp ASB will return to ASB's Campus the week of June 24-28.

A huge thank you to Fr. Heric, Liz Houlihan, Michael Palmer and all of the staff at St. Bridget for making this a possibility for Camp ASB.
