November 27, 2019

Dear Students, Families, Alumni, Parishioners, and Friends of ASB School,

As we head into this holiday, I am filled with gratitude for every one of you.  For our auction chairs, volunteers, donors, and guests, thank you!  It was a huge success and I am humbled by the support of our community.  For our grandparents, friends, and visitors today, thank you!  We loved having you here.  For our faculty and staff, thank you!  I could not do this work without you and our school would not be what is without you.  For our pastors and parishioners, thank you!  Your support of our school is so appreciated.  For our students and families, thank you!  You are the reason we are all here.

I wish all of you of the love of family and friends, and the true gift of gratitude. Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you!

Best,
Kathleen Conklin

Dear ASB Students, Families and Staff,
Thank you so much for decorating and donating the reusable bags to the Assumption St Bridget SVDP Thanksgiving Project! Not only were they a beautiful and thoughtful way to deliver the 48 Thanksgiving dinners to our neighbors in need but the bags themselves were a gift to these families.  As we delivered the dinners today many families were delighted with the bags and assured us that they will be reusing them in the future.  So not only did you help the families but you helped the environment!
I also want to thank you for holding food drives each month, helping pack the Thanksgiving bags, collecting items for the homeless, volunteering at the SVDP Georgetown Food Bank and all the other special things that you do as a school community to support our SVDP conference as we try to help those in our own neighborhood who are in need.  You are a generous school community!
Sincerely,
Tracy Read
President
Assumption St Bridget SVDP Conference.

"Christmas season is upon us!  The ASB Christmas Concert is scheduled for Thursday, December 12th, 7:00pm at St. Bridget Church.  Please put this on your calendar as it is a required event for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students as well as the Choir and Concert Band.  More information will be released as the date nears closer. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Turner or Mr. Van Pelt. We can't wait to see you there!"

Details, demonstrations, and student examples will be shared about several new and improved sets of features across Microsoft products, including: Office Lens, Immersive Reader, EDGE support for ePub and Reading views, OneNote Learning Tools support on iPad, PC, and Mac, Word Learning Tools support on iPad, iPhone, PC, and Mac, and Outlook support for Read Aloud on PC.
