Lilo Life, a thINCubator alum company, teamed up with Syracuse University’s Industrial Design Student Association to bring students an intense 2-day Design Competition. The “Lilo Design Competition” divided student participants into 4 teams and were given the task to create a design utilizing Lilo Life’s inverted water bottle patented product or a product that compliments the existing design.

The beauty of this collaboration was that it gave students free reign to create as freelance designers working with a real startup company and it gave Lilo Life more creative products to consider for future innovation. Watch the recap and learn more on our blog.

The First Mohawk Valley Mini Maker Faire was hosted at SUNY Polytechnic Institute on April 16th, which brought together a diverse group of makers and enthusiasts all in one place!
