It's a weird time of year. Emotions, like the weather, are unpredictable and it seems like almost everyone I know is in the midst of a major life transformation. So here are a few (okay four... I couldn't resist) little reminders to avoid getting swept up in the chaos that is April:
1. Prioritize the people that ground you over those who leave you feeling depleted.
2. Practice self care by returning to the rituals that nourish your mind/body/soul. And remember that these come in many forms: yoga, a hot bath, cooking an amazing meal, whatever works.
3. Say no. Uphold your boundaries by protecting your most valuable asset of all: your time.
4. When you catch yourself in a moment of unease, pause. Feel your feet on the ground, deepen your breath and remember that nothing is permanent so this too shall pass.
