Happy Fall &

Studio Update

I hope this finds you all well and healthy. I have enjoyed seeing many of you in our virtual classes these past seven months, and I look forward to seeing you all again in person when we are able to re-open in person.

I wanted to update you with the situation with our physical space on Main Street. As of last week, our landlords Amy & Phil made us aware of an opportunity they've had to convert the space to a residential loft. The interested party would like to move forward very quickly and so Amy & Phil requested that our lease, set to end on December 31st of this year, be terminated early.

Amy, Phil & their family have been incredibly kind and sensitive to the studio's situation during this crisis. I could not have asked for a better partnership for our space. Given the uncertainty of when we will be able to hold in person classes safely, I have agreed to release the space back to them as of the end of October, and will not pursue renewing our lease in our current space.

I have loved the time in our beautiful space these past 4 years and I am naturally sad to let it go. Many of you have included bedrock YOGA in your practice long enough to remember our first space, so you know that, while we may have enjoyed the physical space of the studio, it is not the foundation of our practice. That foundation lies within each of us and we carry it wherever we go. I hope that you will continue to include bedrock YOGA in your practice virtually and in our new space.

For now, our classes will remain virtual, as was our plan for the Fall Session. I have simply added "finding a new space" to my to do list in order for us to resume in person classes.

A special thank you to Lisa Harris Leigh for designing the photo shoot that leaves me with so many lovely images to remember the time in this space.


I will be teaching from my usual spot in the studio one final time for tomorrow's No Stress Yoga class 5:30-6:45pm if you would like to join us. No experience necessary.
