Happy Holidays from bedrock YOGA!

The holidays are almost here! This time of year can be quite special as we gather with family and friends. It can also be a challenging time. Some of us are recovering from a loss or experiencing friction at home or at work. Even if you are able to embrace the joy of the season, changes in diet and schedule can leave us a bit depleted. We offer you the suggestions in Caroline Layzell's article "10 Yoga Poses to Stay Calm During the Holidays" from If things begin to feel overwhelming, choose one (or more) of the poses or Pranayama to help bring your system back into balance.

Introducing Member Pricing
Beginning in the Winter Session, we will be offering Member Pricing as a Thank You to our registered students. All you need to do to become a member is register for one Full Session class. After that additional full registrations, Flex Passes, Drop-Ins and Workshops will be offered to you at discounted pricing. Members will also receive discounts on retail items (coming in the New Year!). We have a generous makeup policy, so if you miss one of your regular classes, you can make up in any other appropriate level class within the session. If you know you'll be out of town, you are welcome to makeup  in advance. We also allow students to gift their makeups to friends or family if they won't be able to make them up themselves. We do understand that some people will always prefer to purchase Flex Passes or Drop-Ins, so we'll still offer those items at non-Member prices as well. Please let us know if you have any questions about Membership or registration.

Align & Flow

We're all very excited to have Shernita return to Thursday nights with her Align & Flow class! This class is for students who enjoy a dynamic practice. Sequences will focus on a slow and building flow that encourages holding poses to allow for exploration of alignment and strength building in each pose and throughout the transitions. This energizing and empowering practice will allow students to build strength and stability in their practice.

Lunch Break Yoga

Have you been thinking about trying Yoga, but you haven't made the leap yet? Sheryl's Lunch Break Mini is a great opportunity to take a taste of Yoga! This mid-day treat will allow you to take a break from your work day and enjoy the benefits of an easygoing, mindful stretch class. No experience is necessary to enjoy these simple poses appropriate for all levels to get a little bit of relief from your day to day stress and tension. Casual work clothes will allow you to move freely, no Yoga pants required!
