In NMF Weekly Issue #21, Ana Jean wants to know how we know that the square root of 2 is irrational. James is ready to tackle this (while making a sandwich, no less!) as he demonstrates first, what exactly is a square root, and then how to visualize what an irrational number is using a piece of paper. Try this one at home!
In NMF Weekly Issue #22, Kaden asks what "proportional reasoning" means. As keen readers will remember, James loves to tie a good math question back to his native country of Australia, this time with emu eggs and.. cats?! Can you invent your own proportional reasoning puzzles after this issue?
