Post-Event Recordings

All NMF Roundtable recordings are posted to our website within one week of the event date.

We need each other more than ever right now. How are some National Math Festival performers and Mathical Book Prize authors, equity-focused partners, and Title I school librarians coping with change? How can books nourish our spirits? What does 'performing change' look like? How can math help us stay connected and whole during challenging times?

Join MSRI hosts David Eisenbud and Kirsten Bohl as we welcome some 2021 NMF presenters, Mathical authors, librarians from Title I schools, and other Mathical partners distributing Mathical books to kids in need, as they share their stories about adapting to the current global moment.

The award-winning Mathical authors below may read a snippet from their winning books, or share a moment of reflection about the changing times. We will announce and celebrate 25 Title I school libraries around the US who are the first-ever recipients of the Mathical Book Prize Collection Development Awards, administered by School Library Journal. We will share new Mathical reading guides, available for online support for parents and educators.
